First dates are supposed to be most important for everyone. The endless jittery and excitement of going a date, waiting in anticipation for the D-day, creating scenarios in your mind about the date, thinking about what you will talk. Sounds very cliche to you all? But it's something Bollywood and Books have shown us all our life. Be it, girl or guy, everyone expects something special, something magical in their first date.

Though, most of the time, it's the guy who checks off the boxes from a girl's check list. Like picking her up, giving flowers or chocolates, paying the bill. Guys deserve it too. Just imagine giving guy the prince treatment. Just giving him flowers to make him feel special. Ik it's too filmy and unrealistic but one can always imagine. (But you, my girlies please do it once.)

Sorry, I got sidetrack here.

If it rains on your first date then it's like cherry on top. You are both sitting in a cafe or bistro by the window, having your favourite comfort food in the same plate/bowl, with a cup of classic signature hot chocolate. Sneaking glances at each other when the other is not looking.

Haaye, yeh likhte likhte hi mein apni first date pe transport ho gyi.

As you are reaching the end of the date, your date surprised you with your dessert. You are full but who will leave the dessert. The moment bill came you guys had a small cute fight over who's going to pay. After some serious discussion, your date paid for it. Then you left the cafe and went to your adda (meeting spot) and just talked with each other till the sun set.

Even if you don't want the day to end, it is ending. You guys came near your home. Your date gave you a small gift and you hugged each other and parted your ways with a sheepish smile on your face, hoping to meet each other soon...
